About the Author
Robert N. Pripps has authored and co-authored dozens of farm tractor books, including Classic Farm Tractors, Vintage Ford Tractors, Big Book of Caterpillar, Big Book of Massey, and more. Pripps lives near Park Falls, Wisconsin, where he owns a maple syrup farm.
Photographer-author Ralph W. Sanders has photographed tractors for more than 40 years. Ralph grew up on an Illinois farm where he had ample opportunity to "exercise" a 1933 Farmall F-12 and 1948 Farmall C, as well as a Farmall H, Farmall MD, and McCormick W-6. He has worked for Prairie Farmer; Successful Farming; and as a full-time freelance agricultural photographer for Deere & Co., Massey-Ferguson, Kinze Mfg., Vermeer Mfg., DuPont Ag, Monsanto Ag, and others. Sanders is the author of several books from Voyageur Press. He lives in West Des Moines, Iowa.
Andrew Morland is a freelance photojournalist. He is the photographer of numerous Voyageur Press tractor books, including The Bigger Book of John Deere, Vintage Ford Tractors, and Classic Tractors of the World. He lives in Somerset, England.

By Mike O'Connor Robert Pripps' THE TRACTOR FACTOR, THE WORLD'S RAREST CLASSIC FARM TRACTORS should prove to be catnip for all farm tractor buffs. A 2015 Voyageur Press release, it's an informative, well-illustrated survey of farm tractors around the world.Pripps covers some 80 tractors in all. The tractors are divided into chapters on 'Senior Tractors,' 'The Luminaries,' 'The Little Guys,' 'Not So Many Made' and so on. Among the machines covered are the 1910 Pioneer 30, 1919 International 8-16, 1924 Waterloo Boy N, 1929 Case L, 1937 Fordson All-Around, 1956 Massey-Harris 333, 1935 Kaywood D, 1940 McCormick O-6, 1955 Oliver Super 66 (Half-Scale), 1953 Ford NAA Jubilee and 1966 Case Traction King. Each tractor rates a one-two page write-up with accompanying color photographs.If farms tractors are your thing, THE TRACTOR FACTOR is just what the doctor ordered. The short-and-sweet summaries are nicely complimented by the well-reproduced full-color pix. Recommended.

Rare Tractors in All Their Glory By Davis McBride Lots of well-known and not-so-well-known tractors here, including a bunch of unusual ones I haven't seen in books before. With details about everything from horsepower, PTO, displacement, and engines to average speed, weight, whether they come with steel or rubber tires, and the number of cylinders are highlighted for nearly 100 tractor models. Beautiful, intriguing book for people who love classic farm tractors.
