Not much depth but a cliff hanger By Amazon Customer Kind of interesting about the background of Robin Hood and the whole Saxon-Norman controversy in England. I've always read stories about how the Saxon people were almost a seperate nation within England, now I know why. Also the book provided interesting information about Richard the Lion Hearted, King of England. Doesn't seem that he was all that good a king. History from a different angle that I enjoyed. I only gave it three stars because the story wasn't that deep. Many tales of daring do!

An excellent and enthralling tale By Jon Daley I cannot speak on a historical basis, but as a story woven together, it is a wonderful tale of chivalry, that calls us men to rise up and "win our spurs" both on the field and at home.I thank the author for writing this book and spurring my heart to live more gallantly for my God, my wife, and my family.
