4 of 4 people found the following review helpful. Scottish Borders were pretty lawless. By Steven Bolinger I was unfamiliar with this period of Scottish history,but was fascinated by this title. Chapters on the struggles of survival in the region on both sides,British and lowland Scots. I have no idea how factual this text is, but it puts a different spin on the "good old days". If you like scots history you should enjoy this interesting look at raiders,revenge, and law.
