2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. Excellent story well written By Arf! The other reviewer was sadly confused in his shopping error so no need to take it out on the book. It clearly is labled Last of the Vikings and is such. I absolutely relished in the old english with housecarls and thanes. Use your dictionary and get a good vocabulary update as it is fun and educational. It is fiction of course and should be as fascinating as king arthur or robin hood. Love it or leave it but please dont criticise what you dont understand. Peace out.

The description is for a translation of Johan Bojer's "Den Siste Viking," about Lofoten fishermen. This book, however, is an old English novel about the Viking Age. Somebody is in error. Don't buy this thinking you're getting the Bojer book.
