10 of 11 people found the following review helpful. A Very Long Ad for Hiring out Your Property Management By kaswanson I read this book hoping to learn how to do property management. Most of the book is a very persuasive narrative against managing your own properties. I'm a stay at home Mom, looking to buy a small rental and manage it myself. I am very time-rich (a little bored at times!), so a lot of his arguments didn't apply to me. There's still some good information in there, so I didn't completely hate it. Also, I was really excited about the list of free property management forms that he says are available to download on his site. It's a SCAM. I signed up for it, and all it did was add me to the email list. No documents.

More for those who own apartments or commercial real estate By Open mind It was a good read and gave great advice for those who own apartment buildings or commercial real estate. I was able to glean from it in many ways but I was looking for advice as a residential landlord who owns a handful of single family homes. (14 homes)
