One of my favorites is Watkin's book: The First 90 Days. It provides templates, ideas, and practical approaches to business. This book does exactly the same - it provides a concrete approach to starting a new business in 27 days. With detailed instructions, and a thought provoking style, this book lays out the steps you need to follow to build a business. I found myself nodding and agreeing with the advice given. Written in a conversational style, it helped educate me the way a friend or mentor would, with simple analogies and ideas. I'm not looking to start a new business right now, but this book makes me want to!

Important Information to Know By Sunnywindo My husband and I are trying to get a business started and now that I've read it, I need to make my husband read it. I believe this book will be very helpful as we move forward. It's a really good book for someone just starting a business. It covers all the bases, things that beginners might not consider and asks questions to help you think and get organized. I especially liked the sections on social media and the explanations for business entity structure. I thought the plug right after day one for a review was awkwardly misplaced and there was a chart related to common objections which was a bit hard to follow at first due to it's organization and the fact that it didn't transfer to Kindle format very well; otherwise I probably would have given it five stars. Overall, a worthwhile read.

This book caught my attention as a "how to" book but quickly learned it is much more than that. The authors have been very thorough in providing the entrepreneur the needed steps to start the business. Additionally, the book could also serve as a great reference guide for the entrepreneur to check progress in the early months of business. The book is written in an easy to follow format. I love the tips sections for easy future reference and the links to other resources.

Little Men: Life at Plumfield With Jo's Boys, by Louisa May Alcott

From School Library Journal Grade 5 Up Louisa May Alcott's charming, although now somewhat dated, companion piece to the perennially popular Little Women highlights the life of the wildest of the March sisters, Jo, now married to her professor, and presiding as the harried but happy mistress over the Plumfield Estate School home to a small group of needy boys, relatives, and sons whose mischievous antics and emotional upheavals provide ample opportunities for Alcott to share her personal philosophy about learning and life. Filled with pathos and humor as well as insights into the mysterious world of childhood, Little Men entertains and educates in equal measure. Justine Eyre's narration slowly lulls listeners back in time to a far gentler and kinder world in which all children are cherished and nurtured to become their very best selves, providing a perfect selection for family listening pleasure. Also included is a PDF ebook featuring autiomatic startup, a table of contents, and keyword search. Review "The Thackeray, the Trollope, of the nursery and the schoolroom."—Henry James

From the Back Cover The third book about the March family and their friends.

With two sons of her own, and twelve rescued orphan boys filling the informal school at Plumfield, Jo March -- now Jo Bhaer -- couldn't be happier. But despite the warm and affectionate help of the whole March family, boys have a habit of getting into scrapes, and there are plenty of troubles and adventures in store.

You'll laugh and cry By Judy It is truly a shame that the highest number of stars you can rate a book is five, because I would give this book a million stars if I could. It is truly one of the two best books I have ever read. (The other off course is Little Women).Little men is a book that can make you both laugh and cry. The morals inside are more useful than any of the ten commandments. Louisa May Alcott has definetly done it again.Without giving away everything, these are some of the reasons why you will enjoy the book:1) You see Jo grow up. She is no longer the wild child who's impetuous and androgynous character often lead her to trouble. She inherits maternal qualities that you never expected Jo to have.2) You will get more insight on the professor. Although I truly wanted Teddy and Jo to get together, this book made me think otherwise. Professor Bhaer, with Jo's help, makes a delightful father to the boys. He is the one you will get most of the life morals from.3) The boys in Plumfield are definetly the key figures in the book. They create both the mischievious and melancholy stories. As I said, 'you'll laugh and cry'. Reading about these boys will make everyone reflect on their own lives.4) Teddy grows up too. If you enjoyed the young scandulous Teddy, you'll enjoy the new one even more. In little men, Teddy (like Jo) has grown into a real mature father. There are plenty more exciting things in the book. It is truly a classic masterpiece recommended to anyone who needs a lift in their spirit.

I am not reviewing the story Little Men, but the way it was published by IndiePublish. I would give the story 5 stars, but this presentation only two.On the bright side, the cloth binding appears very well done and should last quite a while.Unfortunately, the publisher chose to reformat all the paragraphs in the text so that like this review all margins are left justified and a blank line separates the paragraphs. If it were done well, it might have worked ok, but it was done very clumsily with the completion of a sentence often being separated from the rest of the paragraph. (I have a suspicion that the reformatting of an original text was done by using a Find-Replace function of a word processor and not checked by an editor.) This makes for some awkward readings, and probably not something I would want to put into the hands of a child. Also the text was not proofed for typos or other simple errors in punctuation, and there are some places where I could not tell what the original sentence was intended to say. Again, I expect that the only proofing done on this version was by a spellchecker and a lot of simple mistakes entered into the publication.I wish to repeat, that I love this story and have since I was a boy, and would recommend the story to any child, but would not recomment this particular volume.

By Joanna Daneman While Little Men is not up to the literary achievement of Little Women, it is a wonderful tale for kids. It is JUST perfect for reading chapter by chapter to kids as part of an evening family night. It is as jolly as a house full of rambunctious boys could be.Jo Bhaer, nee March, has boys of her own now and boys to spare. She and the Professor take in students based on charity and kindness. Some boys are neglected, some are badly brought up, all need love, laughter and a caring environment. Plumfield is all that and more. The jolly goings-on make you wish you could have gone to school and lived at Plumfield. The book is prevented from being saccharine by the all-too-familiar themes of neglected kids, growing pains and the sad and much too early death of a favorite character from Little Women. There is lots of fun, and lots to discuss in this sequel to Alcott's marvelous Little Women. Lest you think boys won't like Alcott, I know more than one man who loves Little Women even as an adult.

"[...]eight months." The first emergency arose almost at once. We started up the Mississippi in high spirits, but by the time we reached Moline, Illinois, I was taken from the boat on a stretcher—the aftermath of typhoid fever. It was bad enough to be ill, it was worse to have an unexpected drain on our funds, but worst of all was the fear that someone might file on the claim ahead of us. For a week or ten days I could not travel, but Ida Mary went ahead to attend to the land-filing and the buying of supplies so that we could start for the homestead as soon as I arrived.[...]".

Review "Ida Mary and Edith Ammons were told it was easy: you filed at the land office for a quarter-section-160 acres-lived on it eight months, then "proved up" at $1.25 an acre, and the land was yours. How "easy" it was fills the pages of Land of the Burnt Thigh (Minnesota Historical Press, 269 pp., $7.95), originally published in 1938 by Edith Eudora Kohl, the younger sister. Their story is a lively one. One look and they know they're in trouble. Plunked down on the prairie with their trunks (and a jug of water-the compassionate gift of their departing driver), they stare in panic. Section 18, Range 77W is a waterless, treeless expanse with a deserted tarpaper shack the size of a packing box. Its former owner has fled. Marooned on the plains, they blame the government: "Women should not be allowed to file on land!" -- The Nation, March 21, 1987

About the Author About the Author: Glenda Gates Riley is Bracker Professor of American History at Ball State University. Among her many publications are Inventing the American Woman, Women and Indians on the Frontier and The Female Frontier.

Smith Two young women (sisters), from a fairly well-to-do family back East, bought into the turn-of-the-century land-grab hype, and decided to stake a claim to free land in South Dakota. It had recently been acquired from the Sioux Indians by the Federal Government, and was ripe for the taking by persons willing to abide by the rules of claim, which required living on the land for eight months. Eight months in South Dakota, in the dead of winter, in a wooden box called a house, about eight feet by ten feet in size. The only insulation was torn tar paper on the outside of a house which had no stove. When the snow didn't come through the cracks, the blowing sand did. Frozen water had to be melted for drinking, and there was no well on the land. This is the story of how they lived, endured, and survived, during their time on the land they claimed. Living through almost the same hardships of the Pioneers from 100 years earlier, they were miles from any neighbors, were terrified of the Indians, and for a while, had no horse. And no income. As I laid in my comfy, warm bed, reading this book a few years ago, I continually felt guilty, for my part, for what they endured to achieve what they wanted. We take so much for granted today, in our country, and never give pause to what those before us went through, suffered through, and the prices they paid. This is a fascinating look into a short period in the lives of these two sisters, and a reminder, that few things of value in life are easily obtained.

7 of 7 people found the following review helpful. Very Inspiring! By Prairie Housewife This was a such a good book to read! As a 20-something woman myself, living in South Dakota, the story of how these two young women made a life for themselves on the South Dakota prairie was so inspiring. You come to realize how newly settled this land is. The book was an easy, enjoyable story. Kohl writes in such a way as to draw you into the story and you really come to know the characters and love the harsh land. It's a true story with plenty of adventure. Anyone wanting to learn more about homesteading, especially the small population of single women who homesteaded by themselves, will find a fun read and will learn a ton about the process of homesteading and some of the key events that happened in South Dakota's history. She tells about her encounters with the Native Americans (they homestead on a Reservation), wild-life, strangers passing through, and their struggles proving themselves as capable women to themselves and others. Love this book!

Land of the Burnt thigh By Shirley Roseland I thought this was an excellent book, looking back on how much the women were a part of the frontier days. We read it for our book club, and the discussion over the book was terrific. Everyone had such different, but yet so many of the same views of the book. I would recommend it to others.

By JoLynn An utterly charming tale of three small motherless boys, sent by their father to live with his crusty old governess in England while he is working in South America. Luckily the boys are blessed with good imaginations and caring friends and neighbors. They have many delightful adventures in this heartwarming and humorous story written by the author of the Jalna series. Highly recommended.

Generally family oriented, they can be personally read or read out loud to many different age groups. Truly her books give hours of entertainment. It's very easy to share in the tears and joy of her many different characters as they move from childhood into adolescence, and then adulthood.

Lehmann Having not read much of Lawson since my early adolescence, I decided it was time to reacquaint myself with him, partly to get up to speed for teaching secondary English now that I'm back in Oz.What a delight! I bought 4 collections of Lawson at the same time and read them back-to-back.Lawson has a sensitive pen, whether delivering pathos in the Drover's Wife, humour in The Loaded Dog, or his delightful power of characterisation in the numerous other stories.

The Tarahumara, one of North America’s oldest surviving aboriginal groups, call themselves Rarámuri, meaning “nimble feet”—and though they live in relative isolation in Chihuahua, Mexico, their agility in long-distance running is famous worldwide. Tarahumara Medicine is the first in-depth look into the culture that sustains the “great runners.” Having spent a decade in Tarahumara communities, initially as a medical student and eventually as a physician and cultural observer, author Fructuoso Irigoyen-Rascón is uniquely qualified as a guide to the Rarámuri’s approach to medicine and healing. In developing their healing practices, the Tarahumaras interlaced religious lore, magic, and careful observations of nature. Irigoyen-Rascón thoroughly situates readers in the Rarámuri’s environment, describing not only their health and nutrition but also the mountains and rivers surrounding them and key aspects of their culture, from long-distance kick-ball races to corn beer celebrations and religious dances. He describes the Tarahumaras’ curing ceremonies, including their ritual use of peyote, and provides a comprehensive description of Tarahumara traditional herbal remedies, including their botanical characteristics, attributed effects, and uses. To show what these practices—and the underlying concepts of health and disease—might mean to the Rarámuri and to the observer, Irigoyen-Rascón explores his subject from both an outsider and an insider (indigenous) perspective. Through his balanced approach, Irigoyen-Rascón brings to light relationships between the Rarámuri healing system and conventional medicine, and adds significantly to our knowledge of indigenous American therapeutic practices. As the most complete account of Tarahumara culture ever written, Tarahumara Medicine grants readers access to a world rarely seen—at once richly different from and inextricably connected with the ideas and practices of Western medicine.

Having lived and worked as a medical student and physician among theRarámuri, psychiatrist Irigoyen-Rascón learned the language and recorded theRarámuri's conceptions of medicine and healing practices, detailing herbalcures, rituals, and conceptions of disease. To contextualize the ethnographicdata in this in-depth description of Tarahumara healing practices, the authoroffers a description of Tarahumara ecological habitat and a historicaloverview, emphasizing aspects of cultural contact and change. After situatingthe Tarahumara historically and culturally, Irigoyen-Rascón describes theircuring ceremonies and offers a comprehensive ethnographic account of Rarámuritraditional herbal remedies, including their botanical characteristics, properties, attributed effects, and uses. The healing practices are a blend of religiouslore, magic, and careful observations of nature. To fully explore healing, theauthor uses an emic and etic approach to examine the relationship betweenTarahumara healing systems and conventional medicine, noting that traditionalhealing reinforces tribal social cohesion and cultural identity.Irigoyen-Rascón closes with a summary of medical and epidemiologicalinformation of current health needs among Tarahumara communities. All levels/libraries.“In Tarahumara Medicine, Fructuoso Irigoyen-Rascon reveals, for the first time in a single volume, the complex healing system of the Rarámuri of northwestern Mexico. He provides firsthand information on Rarámuri concepts of illness, healing, and the soul, and a comprehensive ethnobotanical guide to medicinal plant use. A remarkable contribution to the literature By Dennis Mull, MD The limited literature on the Tarahumara – the isolated indigenous people of the Sierra Madre in northern Mexico – has been expertly expanded by this authoritative and scholarly volume.Scattered over a remote mountain area the size of three New England states, the Tarahumara retain their traditional language and customs, which include being guarded with outsiders. Dr. Irigoyen-Rascón lived and worked with them closely as a medical doctor over a period of years, and as a result he is able to provide not only a comprehensive description of the region but also unusual insights into many healing-related customs and rituals of the Tarahumara that he himself witnessed. This book will be fascinating reading for all those interested in Native American culture, and for anthropologists and serious scholars of the Tarahumara specifically, it is a must-have volume. I feel that it belongs on the shelf next to seminal works by Lumholtz (1902), Kennedy (1978), and Merrill (1988). In short, Dr. Irigoyen-Rascón and his editor Dr. Paredes have produced an eloquent and valuable book – a classic in its own right.

Triumph of the Egg and Other Stories, by Sherwood Anderson

About the Author Sherwood Anderson was an American novelist, short-story writer, memoirist, essayist, and poet. A successful copywriter and business owner, Anderson s experience of a nervous breakdown precipitated his abandonment of his business and family in order to pursue a full-time writing career.

Anderson went on to produce more than twenty published works in his lifetime, including the enduring short-story collection, Winesburg, Ohio, and his semi-autobiographical style served as an influence for some of the brightest writers of the succeeding generation, including Ernest Hemingway, John Steinbeck, William Faulkner, and Thomas Wolfe. Anderson died in 1941.

A Triumph of Short-Story Writing By td Whittle Anderson is a wonderful writer, evoking a particular America that maybe never existed as such an actualised, coherent place in the world, but certainly did exist as a unified literary landscape: clear bright skies, verdant hills, vast flat plains where -- on a clear day -- the eye can see forever: the people so small against it all, battling through their sinewy lives and clinging to whatever looks like hope for as long as they can hold on. Sad, poignant, and sometimes hilarious, with particularly gorgeous character portraits.

5 of 5 people found the following review helpful. A very theatrical plot By Patto This novel, first published in 1922, is a good example of J. S. Fletcher's complex plots. The story starts with a famous actor gone missing in suspicious circumstances in northern England. But other dark deeds soon take our attention.Actors and actresses pervade the action, some good guys, some bad guys. Even the non-actors are characters, in many cases. There's the wily estate agent who knows everybody's business and seems to terrify his own employer. And the crafty poacher who lives rough on the moors but aligns himself with our upright hero. Our hero is an attractive young man of independent means who writes plays. Happily there're a lovely young lady living in a Scarhaven cottage in genteel poverty for him to fall in love with. The setting is highly dramatic. The actor Bassett Oliver was last seen in environs of Scarhaven Keep, a ruined tower on an ancient family estate. In the search for Oliver, we find ourselves on a wild and lonely coast off the North Sea. The landscapes in this novel have a thrilling, threatening beauty that forms a perfect backdrop for the mysteries unfolding. There are lots of behind-the-scenes glimpses of life among the traveling acting troupes that performed on the circuit of small towns in England in this period. And lots of dramatic scenes on land and sea to challenge our hero and heroine.I recommend the Resurrected Press edition. It's not a carelessly scanned book, but a real book with readable type, proper paragraphing and a nice little introduction.

2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. YA Mystery By Donna Safford Mystery and intrigue surround Scarhaven, England, when Oliver Bassett is suddenly missing. Mr. Bassett is always punctual, setting an example that everyone notices. The members of his theater company are worried about this unusual event and two men (Copplestone and Stafford) decide to go in search of him, finding his last known stop was in Scarhaven. The people of Scarhaven seem to have secrets, many revolving around the Squire of the town, Marston Greyle. Why doesn't he have contact with his family members and why does he leave them poor? What does he know about Mr. Bassett's disappearance? Mary Wooler, landlady at the Admiral's Arms may have some important information. So might Audrey Greyle, but will telling it put her in danger? Does Devil's Spout have any part in this story? In this classic mystery, the clues will add up and finally point to the person responsible for either the abduction or murder of Oliver Basset.YA mystery lovers will enjoy this book. There is mystery, intrigue, and even a little love story involved here. As the characters tell their stories, you will be drawn in and develop your own conclusions. Will you be able to solve the mystery? Come on and try!

Reed Anthony, Cowman, by Andy Adams

About the Author Andy Adams (1859-1935) was an American writer of western fiction, the son of pioneers. In the early 1880’s he worked in Texas, where he stayed for 10 years, spending much of that time driving cattle on the western trail. He began writing at the age of 43, publishing his most successful book, The Log of a Cowboy, in 1903. The Log of a Cowboy is an account of a five-month drive of 3,000 cattle from Brownsville, Texas, to Montana in 1882 along the Great Western Cattle Trail. Although the book is fiction, it is firmly based on Adams’s own experiences on the trail, and it is considered by many to be the best account of cowboy life in literature.

4 of 4 people found the following review helpful. magnificent By Carla S. Kelly Where, oh where, has Andy Adams been all my life? I love this book. To some, it may seem a dry account of the open range and cattle drives. It is far more. Reed Anthony rings as true as history, because it is a history of a brief time in the life of the American West that many still dream about. It may be fiction, but just barely. Such is Adams' talent as a writer. I recommend this highly.

2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. Educational and Intertaining. By T. Squid Reed Anthony, Cowman was more than a story about building a cattle empire in Texas. It is useful in describing how to build a company.

0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Not this author's best By K Watson This is the second book I've read by Andy Adams after discovering him through excerpts in an anthology of western writing. Adams is tops in writing from his own authentic personal experience as a cattle driver in the 1880's, though even at his best he's no McMurtry or Louis L'amour when it comes to writing vivid narrative. You actually get some sense of what it was really like to be a cowboy, or in the case of this book, what it was like to build up a cattle empire in the 1800's. This book is more about the business side of being a cowman than it is about the experience of a cowboy, except for the early chapters when the protagonist hasn't really gotten into the business side. Those early chapters are actually the best in the book. As the book continues, he becomes a top-tier cattle trader and owner of 750,000 acres of Texas ranchland, more of a hands-on CEO than a cowboy. Andy Adams was not writing from his own first-hand personal experience as any kind of CEO, since he left Texas and the cattle business to go into gold mining and then took up living in Colorado Springs and became a writer. This may explain why this book doesn't have as much life to it as some of Adams' other books. Also, it suffers too much through poor narrative pacing, meaning that it tells the account of each year's business in about the same amount of detail. Rarely is there a particularly entertaining episode which is expanded in greater detail. Rather, there is a preponderance of the following kind of account, for page after page, chapter after chapter (I selected this excerpt pretty much at random from the middle part of the book):"George Edwards was accordingly sent for, and met us at Waco. He was furnished a letter of credit on our San Antonio bank, and authorized to buy and equip two complete outfits for the Uvalde beeves. Edwards was a good judge of horses, there was an abundance of saddle stock in the country, and he was instructed to buy not less than one hundred and twenty-five head for each remuda, to outfit his wagons with four-mule teams, and announce us as willing to engage fourteen men to the herd. Once these details were arranged for, Major Hunter and myself bought two good horses and struck west for Coryell County, where we had put up two herds the spring before. Our return met with a flood of offerings, prices of the previous year still prevailed, and we let contracts for sixty-five hundred three-year-old steers and an equal number of dry and barren cows. We paid seven dollars a head for the latter, and in order to avoid any dispute at the final tender it was stipulated that the offerings must be in good flesh, not under five nor over eight years old, full average in weight, and showing no evidence of pregnancy. Under local customs, "a cow was a cow," and we had to be specific."

2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. painfully out of balance By Susan Wood I love the first 14 of the Elsie books. They are delightful, if unfortunately somewhat racist and sexist. They portray almost perfectly an allegory in terms of relationship with God as seen through the father child relationships of Elsie and her father, and Captain Raymond and his children, particularly Lulu. However, by book 15, Finley apparently overcome with a sense that children did not adequately appreciate history, left off the relationships and became obsessed with making these into history books. They are full of great historical points of view, unfortunately, much as I WANT to appreciate it, it bores me silly, and did my children as well. With a few brief exceptions, the rest of the series seems the same. How unfortunate that she did not balance them a little better, for she would have maintained readers, taught history, and still have a following today.

Too Boring ZZZZZZZZZZZZZ By A Customer On their way to join the rest of the family on the coast of Rhode Island, Max, Lulu, and Captain Raymond tour West Point, Saratoga, and other points of interest. While at West Point, they meet Elsie's cousin, Donald Keith, who joins them on their eastward trek.As their summer stay at the beach concludes, the captain invests in a yacht for the family to enjoy. The Dolphin carries the Dinsmores, Travillas, Lelands, and Raymonds up and down the East Coast as they witness naval exercises and explore Boston, Bunker Hill, and other Revolutionary War sites. The final stop on their stop on their sojourn by water brings themn t oAnnapolis, Maryland, where Max, like his father before him, enrolls at the Naval Academy. That just about sums up the whole book. I can read these books in 30 mn. flat because they are sooooo boring.Books 1-14 are ok, but after that it is entirely boring. They even have Cp. Raymond reading out of a history book! Penned in the mid-nineteenth century, the original Elsie books were written by Martha Finley as a means to support herself after she suffered a serious injury. Finley wrote twenty-eight Elsie books before her death in 1909.

R/C modeling can be a challenging hobby as a result of its very steep learning curve and the lack of "crash-ability" of even the most durable trainer. This book provides you with the knowledge and techniques you need to be successful. This book offers an array of useful information to help pave the path from rank beginner, through basic flight training, precision aerobatics, and 3D flight. Much like any skill-set, learning R/C flight is a process. By starting with basic core knowledge and slowly integrating solid techniques, we can rig your path towards R/C competency for success. Filled with over 100 innovative diagrams and easy to understand descriptions, this is like no other R/C flight manual you've ever seen. Most of the diagrams show precise stick placement along with the position of the model in each maneuver. Whether your goal is simply to be able to safely maneuver your model from takeoff through landing, fly traditional IMAC aerobatic sequences with style, or to pull off a parachute into a torque roll, this is the book for you.

"The Real Adventure" is good enough to have been referred to as "Second Hand Life" by HKW while he was writing it. The main character is a young woman who is intelligent, marries a good man whom she loves but is unhappy when he does not include her in his intellectual life. The plot is the story of how she strikes out on her own, makes something of herself and returns to her husband as an equal. The quality of the writing is wonderful. HKW is triumphant in showing why she is unsatisfied as an accessory to her husband and how she works hard to become more. There are glorious passages describing her working alone. HKW is no Ayn Rand but she named another of his novels, "Calumet K" as one of her favorites and very likely she would have enjoyed this one too.

It is as if Webster gave himself an assignment to write a novel from the point of view of a female protagonist and did an excellent job. I grew to admire his leading character as she herself grew to meet every challenge. Many of the twists and turns took me completely by surprise and that hasn't happened in a while. A really great read, after a slow start. In that period, a story didn't have to charge out of the gate and this one builds easily, slowly, until the pieces are all on the board. But it rewards your patience. Highly recommended

It's written by a first wave feminist. When I read it the first time it was before Betty Friendan's "The Feminine Mystique" had been published and I didn't know how to describe his book to people. "The Feminine Mystique" is a second wave feminist book, the first to be noticed by a large public. This novel is about a young woman working out how she wants to live her life...her choices about her career, her marriage, having and raising children. It covers most issues that have been written about and discussed since "The Feminine Mystique" was published. It is also a good story on its own.

12 of 12 people found the following review helpful. Practical Guide to Bodyweight Training By Dolores Ayotte I think this book is both well-written and informational. It adequately explains the types of exercises i.e. calisthenics, isometrics, and cross training techniques needed to enhance bodyweight training. This guidebook also targets specific areas of the body that require the most work and the physical activity necessary to accomplish the best overall results. In my opinion, as these workouts are described, I think it would be beneficial to have some basic illustrations to demonstrate the suggested physical activity.I like the concept of doing exercises within the comfort of your own home without the use of expensive equipment or costly gym membership fees. The accompanying diet and caloric tips give a realistic view by stressing the fact that it takes more than one life style change to achieve the desired result of a healthier body. The suggestion of "cheat day" also makes these goals more attainable. Great ideas in this bodyweight training handbook.Inspirational Author & Book Reviewer ~ Dolores AyotteUp The "Down" Ladder: Simple Ideas to Overcome Depression

However, I do believe this brief, yet practical guide will get you on your way. Treat yourself to a copy.

I was looking for a quick read that would help me get back on a road to fitness. This Workout Guide is exactly the routine I needed. Via a quick daily dose of calisthenics, isometrics, and cross training (as outlined in BODYWEIGHT 2.0), one can trimmed off the body fat, slim the mid-section, and firm the muscles. The exercise regiment is a mixture of techniques along with an accompanying diet. It is innovative, well-researched, and easy-to-follow.
